Ad Tracking or Ad Campaigns

This is a function that allows you to track the number of links to a section of your site from a third party site. So if you are running an online advertisement with your local newspaper for instance, and would like to track the effectiveness you can do so by creating and providing them a trackable link.

Previously you could link people to the homepage of your site OR to a category. We’ve just added a “Wedding/Events site” option for the Event/Wedding site. If you want to track a link to the wedding site just set up an Ad Campaign and click the “Wedding/Event Site” checkbox. Make sure not to choose anything under Category in the Ad Campaign setup. That’s really it.
