How the different dates on coupons work.

Expiration Date – The coupon is valid through the date specified using the store time zone. So if you have a coupon set to expire on 08/04/2012 they can use the coupon any day before 08/04/2012 and all day up through 11:59:59 PM on 08/04/2012 local time for the store.

Start Date – The coupon becomes valid on the date specified using the store time zone. So if you set the Start date to 08/15/2012 you will be able to use the coupon starting at 12:00:01 AM on 08/15/2012 local time for the store.

If you specify the same day for Start Date and Expiration Date the coupon will be good for only that day from 12:00:01 AM through 11:59:59 PM local shop time.

Delivery Start Date – The user must apply this coupon to an item being delivered on or after the date specified. Time zone is not a factor since we do not have specified delivery times.

Delivery End Date – The user must apply this coupon to an item being delivered on or before the date specified. Time zone is not a factor here either.

If you specify the same date for Delivery Start Date and Delivery End Date then the coupon will only be valid for items being delivered on that particular day.
